Drawings and Illustrations
My first love for art was drawing. I’ve been doing it since I was able to sit upright and hold a pencil in my hand. No matter where my career takes me professionally, I will always come back to this. To creating simply because it makes me a better artist. It allows me to train my eye with lighting, composition, and design. Below you’ll find pieces of works either for clients or from my own personal sketchbooks.
This piece started as a hand study and grew into something much more meaningful to me. It’s the moment of inspiration, a reflection on life, and the world we live in. I made this using charcoal, graphite, watercolor, and pen.

All of the pieces here are part of my study. Three of them human and one of my dog. I like to challenge myself by drawing human expressions and conveying that emotion.
As for my dog, for a time I would draw commissioned portraits of animals and this was a study I did during that time period.
